The Zoopedup.com car club held their annual dyno day this past weekend at Dynotech tuning centre, Brackenfell. The meet up was a huge success with hundreds of car racers and stylists showing their support and getting their cars on the dyno. Proceedings started early in the morning when the Zoopedup car club convoy arrived from their N1 City convoy spot. One of the featured cars first on the rollers was a 6L V8 Lumina SS supercharged with gas pushing 400KWs and a wopping 915 Nm of torque. The car used extra straps to secure it on the dyno as the power was too much.

Finally. The wait is over.
South Africa’s, nay, AFRICA’s First VW-Only aftermarket and performance vehicle magazine is now available. Limited print run means this first issue is sure to have cult like value and status!
A smoking red Mk1 old-skool vdub graces the cover and exclusive features inside include: G60 Vw Mk2 Golf, Flip-Flopped Mk1 16v monster and a slick Revo Tuned, Vw Mk5 running on 19″ alloys! Somewhat thinner then the usual Speed & Sound Magazine content, but they’v made up for it with a stunning centre-fold photo poster of a Mk2 dub.
Official Magazine Launch date is 1st April, the CNA’s and newstands should get their copies from the 22nd March. Now now, being a VW blooded nutter, we can only have so much patience. Autostyle Motorsport has managed to grab a 100 odd magazines for ourselves.
A huge congratulations to the boys & girls at Speed & Sound Magazine, and expect tons of support from us at Autostyle Motorsport.
IMMEDIATELY available at our Johanesburg store, and available from Next Thursday at our Umhlanga Ridge store.
Team Zoopedup.com is one of the biggest modified car clubs in South Africa, the club’s members come from all races and places creating quite a mix of auto enthusiats at their events and gatherings. One of the reasons the Zoopedup car club has become famous in motorsport circles around the country is that it’s not only guys modifying their cars but girls to!! Ingrid Starke is one such example. Terrorizing the guys on the tarmac at Killarney drag nights or drifting red m3’s around the skidpan, this is all in a days work for Zoopedup’s Ingrid. Her pride and joy is a 1.6L 16V Renault Clio modified in all departments! The car sports a full body kit, neat sound install and a custom interior but we will get more into that a little later on. The reno is her second project car after having dabbled with Volkswagen for starters and then later moving onto the Clio.
On Wednesday night, 31st Jan, the Zoopedup car club will be hosting an unofficial meet at the Green Point stadium McDonalds to chill out, meet n’ greet and even grab a chow.

You get 20 mb inbox space which is generally enough, no advertisements and a very lean interface.
Zoopedup.com plans to implement many features into the webmail interface like instant chat with other ZMAIL users.. can you say ZChat!!!
More on this project soon. They are busy ‘skinning’ the inbox.

All I can say is GREAT! Was a awesome day with a pretty good turn out for GP. Lots of new faces but not forgetting the good old faithfuls that will stick with ZoopedUp to the end.
The run was nice, about 30 cars cruised on the highway to Harties. It all started with Branden and Rhiaan in their turbo’d cars who flew ahead and left most of us in the dust. We were entertained with some sideways movement around ALL of the corners by a certain person driving a silver car.
