As you may of heard, North America’s mid-west is basically Antartica right now. Temperatures are way below zero and the snow just keeps on coming.
Of course, with the immense amount of snowfall, and with the roads being covered and looking like some kind of icy white paradise, it must be real hard (if not impossible) to drive around.
Some places have reported more than 12 inches (that’s 30 centimeters!) of snowfall. This basically means you can’t moving anything that is engulfed in the snow. But one man, and obvious car fan, did the impossible; he took his Audi S4 Quatrro out for a day in the snow. And obviously its a challenge with the Quatrro being low on the ground. (more…)
Chris Harris is at it again.
The older model had some help from REVO Technik, which should obviously help it in it’s performance. But will that be enough to tackle the RS4?
Check out the video below to see which one of these two Audi’s wins the drag race and title of ‘better Audi':
Not sure if you should get yourself an Audi or a BMW? Here’s a nice comparison test between the 2010 Audi S4 that comes with a nice supercharged V6 engine that produces a healthy 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, and the 2009 BMW 335i that sports 300hp and 300 lb-ft of torque, with both using a six-speed manual gearbox.
The Audi S4 yields enough power with its 3.0 liter TFSI V6 engine but the German tuner Abt Sportsline is not utterly convinced. To satiate itself, the tuner has introduced a stunning kit that takes the numbers to 435hp with 520 Nm of torque which are up from the 333 hp and 440 Nm of the untouched engine. The consequences are there for all to see as the ‘scorcher’ clocks 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, bettering the 5.1 of the silent motor. The top speed also feels the ‘overhang’ at 175mph but the electronic meter integration maintain it at 155mph. There are no qualms about its performance with the 7-speed DSG gearbox as the combination gels well to ensure a thrilling ride.
