The other day we reported on Lexus’ latest collaboration with music producer/singer/automotive designer Will.I.Am in ann effort to promote their new NX crossover.
As you may know, Will.I.Am has tried his hand at designing custom cars in the past – some of which resulted in extremely strange and rather weird hybrid versions of well know cars.
However, as Lexus promoted their new NX, so did Will.i.Am and, amidst wild speculation as to what the end result would look like, we are surprised to say that the “extremely stylised version’ of the NX crossover is actually not bad at all. In fact, we’ll go as far as to say that this car has that ‘boom-boom pow’.
Revealed last night at Paris Fashion Week, Will.i.Am looked rather satisfied with his creation as he revealed it to handful of cheering fans. (more…)
In an effort to promote their all new, upcoming crossover – the NX – Lexus has teamed up with on of the planet’s quirkiest personalities to design a one-off, custom version of the car. All in the hopes of capturing the attention of the world.
Lexus has enlisted the help of music producer-turned-entrepreneur Will.i.am to design a custom NX of their new crossover model.
As the company has said themselves, the car designed by the hands of Will.i.am, will be an “extremely stylised version”of the actual model – so don’t get a fright when you see it for the first time and think that Lexus has turned a new (quirky) leaf.
Will.i.am is also no stranger to the automotive industry, or designing his own, uhm, different cars. (more…)
Woah, Lexus. This is quite the stunner.
Ahead of it’s official debut in Detroit in a couple of days, Lexus has enticed us with some of the details (and some cool photos) of the al l new, all impressive, 2015 Lexus RC F. And we’re well impressed.
The RC F is one mother of a 5.o liter, V8 powered coupe. Of course, sitting in the same category as Lexus’ new baby, is BMW’s M4. And we’re pretty sure that they almost fell off their seats when they saw these pics.
The RC F will have way over 450 horsepower and promises to be a stunner on the road.
Lexus has rightly dubbed their latest creation as “functional beauty” – damn straight.
Check out some of the pics below as well as the introductory video: (more…)
The new 2012 GS 350 Lexus continues to tease car enthusiasts, the latest image of which details the model’s exterior. While the picture is reminiscent of the LF-Gh concept, the street model will feature a unique ‘hourglass’ grille and sweptback headlights with new integrated LED daytime running lights.
