Whenever we hear the words Rolls Royce and spy shot in the same sentence, get excited. And if said spy shots happen to be of the long overdue, heavily anticipated new Phantom, all the better.
Motor Authority has gotten their hands on some pretty special spy shots of the 2018 Rolls Royce Phantom – and by the looks of things, the new model will be very bit as perfect as the current model.
One has to keep in mind that the current Phantom model has been on the market since 2004 – that’s 10 years ago. So when we say the Phantom is long overdue for an upgrade, we mean (really) long overdue. Not that there is anything wrong with the current model (it still makes our heart skip a beat) but a lot has happened in the past 10 years, especially technology wise.
This test model was spotted outside a BMW test centre in Germany, and, as we can gather, Rolls Royce has started with their first public road tests with the new Phantom. (more…)
As some of you may or may not know, we have a bit of a special place for Porsche. Whether it’s the sleek, beautiful lines or the sheer power of the Porsche, we love these cars.
Ot should come as no surprise then that we got really excited when we saw these spy shots of the all new Porsche Macan Turbo S. Sure, the Macan Turbo has been unveiled and we love it in all its glory, but the Turbo S is more powerful – and thus more exciting.
The Macan is the perfect car for you if you;re into SUV’s but you’re not too keen on a super bulky, big car.
Unlike it’s older sister the Cayenne, the Porsche Macan is still an SUV that you can drive comfortably and without feeling overwhelmed by the sheer power and size of the mighty Cayenne.
As the company itself describes the Macan, it’s a sports car meets small crossover – and what combo that is! (more…)
Porsche’s latest creation, the Cayman GT 4, is said to rival the existing Porsche 911 Carrera as well as the powerful Carrera S – and we must say, judging by these most recent spy shots, the Cayman looks dangerous. And we mean that in a good way.
The Cayman Gt 4 will be a powerful car, that much we know. What we also like is the sleek-meets-bulky look of the car that is basically yearning to be pushed to it’s limit.
Some of the features we do know of include a new aero kit and bigger breaks. It also has larger, lightweight wheels, a lower ride height and, as you can see in the pictures, a striking rear wing and ducktail spoiler. Impressive. (more…)
The beloved Mini is back and almost ready to unveil it’s all new, 2014 Mini Cooper.
Almost that is. The official unveiling of the much anticipated 2014 Mini Cooper has been scheduled for November 18 – but thanks to the people at Motor Authority, we can bring you some spy shots of the marvelous Mini. (more…)
If these spy shots are anything to go by, then supercar manufacturers might want to pull up their socks and get ready for when the Jaguar F-type Coupe finally arrives.
Currently, the fabulous F-type is only available as roadster while Jaguar continue to fine tune the finishing touches on the roadsters sibling, the coupe.
Veils will definitely be taken off the next generation BMW X3 at this year’s Paris Motor Show if not earlier given the testing stage its prototype has reached. The next-generation X3 was spotted doing rounds in the streets of Munich Germany and the prototype looked almost production ready. Compared to the current generation model, the X3 slated to arrive in the future is a tad bigger. The X3 will be a powered by a number of engine choices which include the regular 3.0-liter six, a turbocharged version of the same unit and a diesel option which might hit the market sometime later after the petrol variants get introduced.
