The new 2010 Opel Astra has been officially revealed. Rival to VW’s Golf, the new Opel Astra is being style with influences from the stylish Insignia. With sleek lines and sporty elegance, it’s built on GM’s new Delta platform (just like the Volt) and runs on a variety of engines; 1.4-litre naturally aspirated petrol including a 120 to 140hp turbo version, a turbo 180hp 1.6-liter and of course 1.3-litre, 1.7-litre and 2.0-litre turbo diesels. Expected to go on sale in Europe in the five-door version starting with next year’s autumn, we’ll get to lay our eyes on it at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show first. Looks pretty neat, don’t you think?
