The 2011 5XR from Roush has been unveiled. The car looks like it has been made based on the Ford Mustang GT, and has an out and out aggressive body – front fascia is new, side skirts have been modified and so has the rear valance. There is also a three piece spoiler on this vehicle – which will be available as a convertible as well as a coupe.

Also featuring on the striking car is a billet grille, a sport suspension with 20-inch wheels that are equipped with Cooper RS3 tires.

The engine is a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 which produces 525 hp (391 kW / 532 PS) and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque. This is connected to a six-speed manual transmission, ensuring rapid acceleration.

Reports say that production will be limited to 150 units; prices will start at $15,390, which is an addition compared to the actual cost of the Mustang.
