Finally, Audi has officially unveiled the R8 GT Spyder at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The lightweight model will be powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 560 PS (412 kW / 552 hp) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. Further, it is connected to a six-speed R tronic transmission that enables the 1,640 kg (3,616 lb) roadster to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. It can hit a top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph).

The exterior features include a carbon fiber front spoiler, a carbon fiber rear wing and a carbon fiber rear diffuser. Moreover, ride height has been reduced (10mm) from the standard R8 Spyder 5.2. Other highlights include titanium gray accents and tinted LED taillights.

Coming to the interiors, the cabin boasts of Alcantara upholstery, carbon fiber trim and sport seats that weigh 31.5 kg (69 lbs).

Expected to cost around €207,800, the production will be limited to 333 units.
