BMW Group has officially come up with details on the upcoming MINI Coupe. MINI Cooper Coupe comes in four different engine variants including the range-topping John Cooper Works edition.

MINI Coupe is 3,728 mm long and comes with a wheelbase measuring 2,467 mm. The front track is 1,459 mm wide and rear-axle track comes in a width of 1,467 mm.

The John Cooper Works (JCW) edition will be powered by a 1.6 liter turbocharged engine with an output of 155 kW/211 PS (207 bhp) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of peak torque while the MINI Cooper S Coupe features a 1.6 liter turbo unit that develops 135 kW/184 PS (181 bhp) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque.

The JCW can hit up to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph). Fuel consumption is 7.1 liters/100 km (39.8 mpg imp) with a CO2 emissions quotient of 165 g/km.

On the diesel front, there is MINI Cooper SD Coupe with a 2.0 liter diesel engine capable of an output of 105 kW/143 PS (141 bhp) and 305 Nm (225 lb-ft) of torque.

All variants except the MINI JCW Coupe feature a standard 6-speed manual transmission and an optional six-speed automatic!
