To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the very first James Bond movie, with Sean Connery in the leading role, the iconic cars that accompanied the British spy will go on display at the UK National Motor Museum. The ‘Bond in Motion’ display featuring some of the his most memorable vehicles is expected to be one of the must-see automotive attractions of 2012.

The show, which promises to be one of the largest of its kind in the world, will feature not just Bond’s famous cars but also his boats, motorbikes as well as the Bede Acrostar jet from Octopussy and the sledging cello case from The Living Daylights. 

Some of the vehicles that have been confirmed include: The 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger, 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 from The Spy Who Loved Me, 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III from Goldfinger and the 2002 Jaguar XKR with SFX weapons from Die Another Day. 

50 vehicles in total will be on display for a year from the 18th January 2012.
