From Belgium’s specialty marque – Automobiles Gillet – comes a supercar, the 2011 Gillet Vertigo .5 Spirit. The car is equipped with a 4.2 liter V8 engine configured to 420 PS (309 kW), that has been sourced from Maserati and a power upgrade is offered by Automobiles Gillet, for the fans who would just will not be satisfied with the existing power.

The engine  is linked to a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The nomex/carbon monoshell helps keep the weight of the vehicle down to a good 990 kg. The car runs smooth on 19-inch wheels wrapped in 225/35Z/R19 tires for the front and 275/35Z/R19 at the rear.

There are two superimposed wishbones featuring on the suspension – both in the front and the rear; and there are independent wheels in the rear.

With all of this fabulous news, the only drawback according to a few is that the interior could have looked better. Not too much of a drawback for most fans of supercars who obsess on performance rather than on cabin interiors.
