The new Audi A4 2.0 TDI has just been launched. The new model is a high efficiency beauty that will be available in the market as a wagon as well as a sedan. The 2.0 TDI is pleasing to the eye – with an aerodynamic body kit, reduced ride height and is outfitted with 16-inch alloy wheels with low-rolling resistance tires.
Powered by a two-liter engine (diesel) that gives 100 kW (136 PS / 134 hp) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, which is linked to an optimized six-speed manual transmission, the vehicle guarantees fuel efficiency. Acceleration is said to be 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds, hitting a top speed of 215 km/h (134 mph), which is almost the same in the Avant model – which hits 0-100 km/h in 9.8 seconds and gets to a top speed of 208 km/h (129 mph).
As for fuel consumption, the sedan promises to give 4.4 L/100km (53 US mpg) and the Avant undertakes to provide 4.6 L/100km (51 US mpg). Even better, the vehicle’s CO2 emissions are relatively low – 115 g/km by the sedan and 120 g/km from the wagon. And if the driver need more help regarding increasing fuel economy, there is an onboard computer that offers tips on the topic.
The vehicle is available in Germany now, with prices starting at €31,600 for the sedan and €33,250 for the wagon.
