A road-going version of the Nemesis desert rally raid vehicle will be put to the test at Race Car Live. Called the Bowler Nemesis EXR prototype, the vehicle could be mistaken for a heavily modified Range Rover Sport.
Two different engine options are available – a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 with 600 bhp (447 kW) and a 3.0 liter TDV6 with 291 bhp (217 kW), both of which are connected to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The vehicle was designed to be a desert racer, with the previous versions (using 4.0, 4.2 and 4.4 liter V8s) successfully competing in the World Off Road Rally and the Dakar Rally circuits. This latest offering is the company’s first road going or street legal version.
The EXR is lightweight – with the composite materials that make up the chassis and body greatly contributing to this. There is also a double wishbone independent suspension and front & rear roll bars.
