After a series of teasers that had enthusiasts restless with anticipation, BMW has finally released a video that gives a full glimpse of the 1-Series M Coupe. The vehicle had a quiet unveiling at the Autosport Awards ceremony in London, with Dr. Kay Segler and WTCC driver Andy Priaulx present.

The video that was released gives an extremely short glimpse of the full body of the coupe, and BMW is continuing with the ‘top secret’ policy that they have sustained so far.

An earlier statement from the company had stated that the 1-Series M will weigh approximately 1500 kg (3,307 lbs) and that the chassis, braking system and rear differential used on the vehicle would be similar to the M3.

The car will have a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine powering it, with 340 bhp (254 kW / 345 PS).

This will be connected exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission, which will enable it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than five seconds.

The car will be shown to the world at the North American International Auto Show. A full media report is expected to be released soon.
