The web-preview of the new Honda Fit Shuttle has been released and the model is to be unveiled in the Japanese markets soon. Honda has extended the five-door hatchback subcompact car into a compact MPV that features a center-tank layout packaging arrangement.
This design will provide more interior and luggage space in the compact body of the vehicle.
The new Fit Shuttle will be available in Japan with a similar engine lineup to the hatchback version including a conventional 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and a hybrid variant that features the compact and lightweight IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) system.
It will be the first wagon-type hybrid model in its class and the company is planning to launch the vehicle during this March. We don’t have any words about the vehicle’s availability in the world market. Do have a look at the leaked magazine scans that we have added with this post.
