A handful of photographs which are the result of the diligent effort of the spy photographers, of the 2012 Opel Astra GSI are out. Well, the vehicle was caught undisguised. It has been said that the Opel Astra GSI is inspired from the Astra GTC Paris Concept.
The spied photographs clearly show the aggressive front bumper and spoiler mounted at the tailgate of the vehicle. The auto has got LED daytime running lights as well as a dual exhaust system. Above all, Astra GSI will feature a sport-tuned suspension. The interior of the vehicle is expected to have undergone some sort of revision.
It is being speculated that the car will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol. This will churn out approximately 200 hp (149 kW / 203 PS). This will enable the Opel Astra GSI to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph).
