Chevrolet has announced their new plans on the production of their upcoming special edition of the vehicle known as the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro. The company states that it will issue limited editions of the vehicles every six months.
Camaro chief engineer Al Oppenheiser has been quoted as saying that they will follow the strategy with an aim to keep the nameplate of the brand consistently fresh. Oppenheiser further added that their plan is keep evolving the Camaro, and that this is its beauty.
The company also aims at exploiting the rich heritage they have earned over these many years as a performance model with many limited editions. Almost all the models of under the brand went on to become classics themselves, as we all know.
We could also expect a limited edition 2012 Camaro Transformers model. As the name suggests, it will have a tie up with the new Transformers movie (Transformers: Dark of the Moon). It is also learnt that 500 units of the 2011 Camaro SS convertible Indy 500 pace car will be issued soon.
