The Porsche 911 is getting a new design and is slated to be introduced later during 2011 itself. Even as the model is getting ready for roll out, Porsche is going ahead with the manufacture of a few special edition cars too on the current model. The array of Porsche special edition models are something we look forward to see.
Among the new models, the 911 GT3 RS Limited Edition is one that has been generating the maximum buzz. Though details have been very sketchy, the grapevine says that a new 4.0-liter flat-six engine with 500 PS (368 kW / 493 hp) which is 50 PS (37 kW / 49 hp) more than the standard model will power the car.
It is also being reported that 911 GT3 RS Limited Edition could be outfitted with the new PDK-S transmission that would enables quick gear shifts. We expect the car to roll out on April 7.
