We don’t have to tell you that the Pixel, Tata Motors’ new concept car, made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The latest is that the Pixel will get a production version soon.
The Pixel will soon be sold in Europe in place of the earlier planned Nano Europa. Pixel in fact will be an exclusive European car. Pixel may be seen as the rebirth of Tata Nano, as the maker is looking to rectify so called technical flaws that the Nano has been accused of.
The grapevine buzz is that two door and four door variants will be available. The chassis has been redesigned for improved handling.
The Pixel will come powered by Tatas’ own ultra-compact 1.2-litre, three-cylinder diesel engine, which will return around 60bhp. The engine will be placed beneath the rear seats and will driving the back wheels by way of a five-speed gearbox.
Pricing details are yet to be revealed.
