Audi has officially unveiled the 2012 Audi Q3 ahead of schedule. The vehicle was actually supposed to make its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show. The automobile comes equipped with a single-frame grille, a sloping roofline and a wraparound tailgate like that of the Q5 and Q7. The interior sports the A1 -inspired cabin as well as a spacious boot.
Under the hood, the vehicle offers three different engines at the time of launch, including a 2.0-liter TSFI that produces 168 hp (125 kW / 170 PS) and 208 hp (155 kW / 211 PS) plus a 2.0-liter TDI that returns 174 hp (130 kW / 177 PS).
The vehicle also offers a list of optional features which the customers could order as per requirement. The list includes leather upholstery, heated seats, aluminum trim, ambient lighting, a 14-speaker Bose audio system, a panoramic glass roof, and MMI navigation with a seven-inch display.
It is learnt that an entry-level model will be introduced later on with front-wheel drive and a 2.0-liter TDI engine. The engine will produce 138 hp (103 kW / 140 PS). Audi Q3 will hit showrooms by June and will come with a price tag starting from €29,900 in Germany.
