The first details of the2012 Dodge Avenger R/T have been revealed by the manufacturer. The vehicle has been slated for a New York Auto Show debut. The most noteworthy features of the car include body-color grille, tined headlights, and exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels.
The interior features a well furnished cabin with fabric/leather sport seats, a Boston Acoustic sound system, and a revised instrument cluster. Features under the hood include a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 283 hp (211 kW / 287 PS) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. It is mated exclusively to a six-speed automatic transmission.
This allows the vehicle to offer a fuel economy rating of 19 mpg city / 29 mpg highway. The car is also said to offer “exceptional driving dynamics” with its sport-tuned suspension with stiffer spring rates and a larger rear stabilizer bar.
