Porsche has officially announced the 911 GT3 RS 4.0. The new machine is said to come featured with the best attributes that helps it make it big on the race track. The highlights sound impressive and will definitely yield remarkable performance.
The power is extracted from the naturally-aspirated 4.0 liter engine. It is considered to be the biggest engine ever to be incorporated in a Porsche that figure around125 hp/liter (92 kW). This engine has been adopted from the 911 GT3 RSR racing model. The engine produces a total output of 500 PS (368 kW / 493 hp). This leads to a transmission of six-speed sport gearbox. The car does the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in only 3.9 seconds
Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 will be a limited edition of just 600 units, said the manufacturer. The vehicle will go on sale in Germany and UK in July. It will be available for price starting at 178,596 Euro inclusive of 19 per cent value added tax.
