Honda will come up with its Beat in 2013. The model is expected to be based on the CR-Z and feature styling influenced by the OSM concept, a concept car that was revealed on at the London Motor Show back in 2008. It was designed by Honda’s R&D facility in Offenbach, Germany. Have a look at the pictures alongside.
Powered by a 1.3- or 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, the variant will also offer a dual-clutch transmission adapted from the company’s VFR1200F motorcycle. However, there has been no official confirmation on engine details.
The news on Beat came as a surprise for those who have been eyeing a successor to the S2000.
No matter, the variant is likely to be offered internationally.
