We are thrilled to bring to you some spy pictures of the evolving hybrid form of the Ferrari 599 successor. Going by the images, we guess the test vehicle sports what looks like a redesigned hood of the 599 GTO body.

There is no likelihood that the production model could look similar to the prototype snapped up on spy camera. We tend to think the alternative body is just a cover up to the design of the car’s aluminum monocoque chassis, supposedly derived from the Ferrari FF.

If you remember, the car was said to be the F152 earlier and will come with a 6.3-liter V12 engine of approximately 700 hp (522 kW / 710 PS). It has been reported that power will be send evenly to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Expectations are that the car could come in for real by late 2012 or early 2013. Watch this space for more details.
