Audi has impressed the auto world with the unmasking of a newly facelifted A5. The updated vehicle has increased its dimensions by one millimeter (0.04 inches) in each side, and that has made the A5 Sportback is now 4.71 meter (15.45 ft) long.
That has also made it the longest Audi, when compared with the A5 Coupé and Cabriolet measuring 4.63 meters (15.19 ft) in length. The front and rear fascia have also been made stylish with remodeled light clusters.
Under the hood, the Audi A5 sports a 3.0 TFSI, a supercharged V6 producing 200 kW (272 PS / 268 bhp). In comparison, the S5 Sportback, Coupé and Cabriolet models have the 3.0 liter TFSI with 245 kW (333 PS / 328 bhp), while the earlier S5 Coupe comes with the more fuel consuming 4.2 liter V8 unit.
The 125 kW (170 PS / 167 bhp) 1.8 liter TFSI unit comes with enhanced features to let it return a greater fuel-economy (5.7 l/100 km or 41.27mpg).
The face lifted Audi A5 Sportback 1.8 TFSI base model quotes a price of €33,350 in Germany.
