If you haven’t heard as yet, here’s some bit of exciting news for you. The Toyota RAV4 EV will debut in 2012 and will be offered to all customers who wish to get one for themselves. This puts to rest the reports that the car will be made available only to fleet purchasers or to car-sharing companies.
Now, that’s exciting in these days of the EV revolution.Toyotahas said that they foresee good amounts of public interest in the RAV4 EV and so all consumers will be offered the fully-electric SUV.
If the RAV4 EV isn’t just enough, do wait for one more vehicle that will be purely electric from the carmaker’s stables.
The company has stated that during 2012, it would bring on the Scion iQ EV too. This vehicle, by the way, would be offered only to fleet owners and car-sharing firms.
