VW seems to be treading the ambitious route with a soon-to-come MK7 version of the Golf. The new model comes with a sleek design sporting a wider track, steeper wind shield and lower roof line, compared with the present model.
The interior also comes with changes, which includes a more bogged down driving position. The new instrument panel and center console have been further inclined towards the driver. That makes us think of a sports car.
The Golf variant will not confine to the stereotype, we hear. It will come across as a bulkier and aggressive 5-seater people-mover. May be the variant could give that can match up to the Ford C-Max.
The next generation VW golf is expected to hit roads by mid 2012.
Meanwhile, we also hear that VW is also planning a 3-door edition which would be distinct and stylish than the 5-door variant Golf.
