We’re sure you have already heard about the new 2012 Honda Civic that has been in the works at Honda and pictures of the new model have been snapped.
Hardly distinctive from the previous edition that came to North America, the new car displays a similar design with some minor tweaks. Nevertheless, what Honda has in store for the European version of the Civic has attracted a lot of interest.
The redesigned edition of the popular automobile was spotted along the Alps highway. Although heavily camouflaged, we can make out the edgy styling of this Euro-spec prototype with its new tweaks including truncated rear doors, a steeply-raked windscreen and a taller hatchback look with a new rear wiper.
We hope changes in the US edition – such as modified bumpers, a revised grille, and restyled taillights – will also be applied to the new model.
While the cost of the vehicle is still unknown , it is rumoured to be getting ready to hit European roads by mid-2012.
