Earlier this year, Toyota had revealed a badge-engineered version of the Toyota IQ  in New York, and called it the Scion IQ. The automaker has now announced the price and launch details of the 2012 Scion IQ for North America.

With only mild tweaks on the international Toyota IQ model, this two-seater Scion IQ will equip a 1.3 liter, four-cylinder engine rendering a decent motivation of 94 bhp (70 kW / 95 PS) along with an 89 lb-ft (121 Nm) of torque.

The IQ comes across as a premium micro-subcompact, and will be ready by October this year. To come to the West Coast streets, the car will drive to the rest of the US by the early half of 2012. We hear the Scion IQ will have  a starting price of $15,265 .
