Lexus has released the first details of the European version of the 2012 IS-F model sports sedan. With an an updated chassis, Lexus promises a better driving experience and improved comfort from the new model.
New shock absorbers, larger stabilizer bars and revised suspension geometry are some of the other specification details and with new mono-tub shock absorbers that optimise the tyres on a bumpy road, Lexus assures more comfort and stability.
The 5.0-litre V8 engine produces 423 PS (311kW/417 hp) and a torque of 505 Nm (372 lb-ft). The engine enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 Km/hour in 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 167 mph.
Individual exterior options also include a set of 19-inch alloy wheels in a 14-spoke design and for the interior, an available 2-tone, black and crimson leather trim.
The crimson leather trim can also be opted for in the coupe-cabriolet IS 250C that is offered as part of the luxury line, the price of which starts at 70,600 Euros.
